WILLIAM SAFARI NGALIANI
He could not believe it that he has been enrolled into the Leigh Day orphan programme. He had thought that we were just interested to know about his background. He thought nothing fruitful could result out of our lengthy interview. William could not manage tears of joy not to flow down his cheeks on realization that he was among those to receive educational support.
William Safari was born in 1993. He is a son to the late Mr.Lemunten Ledanye and Mrs. Nongishu Lendanyi. He has two brothers and one sister. His father died in the year 2003 and William was left under the care of the poor mother. The poor mother was unable to support William and his brother who are both in school. William's uncle has been the one playing the role of a guardian but with much difficulty.
William was in class 5 at the time of enrolment. He was of poor academic performance. He missed classes and lacked basic items. He is now of good academic ability and above average in class. William's life is full of hope as he is very much determined to emerge the best pupil in Mukogodo division come his K.C.P.E. examination. His ambition is to be a magistrate. His hobby is socializing and reading books.
