JOHN KATANA PARTANGU
Katana is 16 years of age and in polytechnic. His mother and father died in the years 1999 and 2002 respectively. After the death of his father, Katana was left under the care of his uncle, Lemarian Moiyare. The uncle is very poor and was unable to provide the boy with basic and educational needs. Katana, by the time we enrolled him in our orphans education sponsorship programme he was very desperate and his education was often interrupted. He could not afford the little amounts needed for examinations, uniforms, and boarding among other school requirements.
Katana has been in our orphan programme since 2006. He has shown commitment towards bettering his life. He has one brother and one sister who are both not attending school. Katana is working hard to deliver their lives from severe poverty. Katana's hobbies include playing and watching football and cycling.
