FRANCO PARLIAMENT SARIOYO
The long waited millennium 2000 came but to Parliament it had a different meaning. It is in the year 2000 that Parliament lost his father, Lemuli Sarioyo. Life started becoming miserable and worse. Before the memories of his father's death his mother, Naitoi Sarioyo passed away in 2003. Situation was terrible for Parliament. He lost his parents within a span of 3 years. He did not know what life had for him and his family. He never thought that educational sponsorship was coming his way by the end of the following 3 years.
Parliament was enrolled in the HOME orphans educational sponsorship programme in late 2006. He had his uncle as his guardian. His uncle was poor and impoverished to meet the child's basic and educational needs. He used to miss classes due to the obvious problems related to Maasai orphans. His performance was poor and he was ever below average.
Parliament has with time improved greatly. He is now above average and excellent in some subjects. He is now in form 2 at Doldol high school. His dream is to pursue veterinary medicine in a recognized university. We are confident in him and we believe he will make it.
