LEMUSI KURARU
Lemusi Kuraru was born in 1996 at Doldol village. He is a son to Mr. Peter Kuraru and the late Mrs. Merina Kuraru. Lemusi recalls the common words of his father. "Work hard my son. Perhaps you are our Yeso to redeem us from poverty." Even before the angry death of his mother, poverty had snatched the keys to his home.
We met Lemusi at Doldol primary school. He looked lonely and looking at him one could see a boy suffering from a problem you couldn't easily tell. We were told he is an orphan. He had lost his mother at the age of 4 years. He had missed the love he needed; perhaps that is why he looked lonely.
Lemusi has two sisters and four brothers who are all in school. His father is aged and sick. He is also very poor and taking care of the small children. Lemusi has been doing very well in class. He is discipline and of good character. His dream is to be a surgeon in future. His hobbies are playing football and making friends.
